Becoming a Member

MAC has updated its membership application and renewal processes. Please check the fees and charges, since 2007, GST amounts have to be charged.

Students can join by paying a nominal $10 membership; this small rate merely makes a contribution to servicing costs with the monthly newsletters, twice annual magazine and member rates for MAC events providing good value; not to mention the networking opportunities with prospective employers! The individual rate remains at $50.

The $150 "Associate" rate is extended to all non-profit organizations, municipalities and suppliers whose main business is other than aviation. Associate members are entitled to forward monthly Newsletters to their own members.

The commercial or corporate categories are small , medium and large. The small corporate rate (less than $1 million revenue from aviation activities in Manitoba) is $250. The medium corporate rate (reflecting $1 million revenue from aviation activities in Manitoba) is $500 while the  large corporate rate  (more than $2 million revenue from aviation activities in Manitoba) is $1000.

MAC is committed to low membership rates and recognizes that many of our member companies also sponsor events such as  the MAC conference and are advertising supporters of the Western Canada Aviation & Aerospace magazine. While Commercial members have one person designated to represent their company; they are allowed to name additional personnel to receive the newsletters and magazines.

All aviation operations in Manitoba, particularly those which hold Operating Certificates from Transport Canada, need the representation services of MAC. Of course MAC welcomes all those who support the MAC mission to: promote, facilitate and protect the development of all facets of aviation within the Province of Manitoba.

To become a member, print out this form and mail it to us along with the appropriate fee. Thank you for your support.
