Supervisor's (Managers) Training Two-day Workshop October 2010 MAC Training Centre, 1 Allen Dyne Rd, Wpg
Tentative Who should come to the course? Any supervisor/manager!In almost all cases, supervisors and managers are promoted into their positions, often based on their knowledge of the work and their seniority. They are very rarely provided with any training to take on this additional and new responsibility. This course is designed to provide the skill sets needed to be productive, competent and professional supervisors and managers. This is a “people” program which harmonizes the balance needed between “job skills” and “people skills”. Using the analogy of the doubletree balance of two horses pulling a wagon, each supervisor, team leader or manager balances his/her own skills through this team-oriented system of supervision. The outcome is becoming better equipped with skills and motivation to get results. Course Benefits: Individual participants of this course will come away with competency skills and qualifications to become exceptional and respected leaders. In addition, this program is well suited to those organizations seeking top-down Continuous Improvement and Total Employee Involvement. "Action Oriented Supervision" is a two-day program that will be hosted by the Manitoba Aviation Council (MAC Training) and will be fully compatible with provincial and national criteria for supervisors in any industry sector. Presently being evaluated by the Canadian Aerospace Maintenance Council (CMAC) for nationally-recognized occupational standards. The program is admininstered and delivered by Workplace Safety Group, St. Catharines, Ontario.
